About Us

Who You’re Actually Booking With

A small Bali-based team, a phone number that answers, and one price that does not move after you have agreed to it.

Based In Bali

How We Work

From First Message To Pickup

Four steps, no account, and nothing held until you say yes.

How A Booking Actually Works

  • 1

    You message us

WhatsApp, usually. No form, no account, no deposit to ask a question. Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and where you are staying.

  • 2

We send back a plan and a price

Usually within the hour between 07:00 and 22:00 Bali time. One number, written down, covering everything we have listed as included. If what you asked for does not work from where you are staying, we say so at this point rather than after you have paid.

  • 3

    You confirm, or you don't

Nothing is held until you say yes. There is no pressure and no countdown timer, because we do not have a booking engine that needs feeding.

  • 4

The driver or crew meets you

The person who answered your messages is the one who briefs the driver, and on most days is the driver. Pickup time is confirmed the evening before, not on the morning itself.

How The Price Is Built

Three different things are being bought across this site, and they are not priced the same way. Knowing which one you are looking at explains most of the price differences between trips.

Driving days are priced per car

A day with a car and a driver costs the same whether there are two of you or five, so the per-person cost falls as the group grows. The car is the cost; the seats are free.

Activities and boats are per person

Anything where a supplier charges per head - a rafting seat, a dive, a cabin, a class - is priced per person, because that is how it is charged to us.

A private charter is priced per boat

You are buying the vessel and its crew for the dates, so the number of people only matters once you pass the band you booked.

What is not included is listed

Komodo National Park fees are excluded on every liveaboard, by every operator in Labuan Bajo. Where a supplier charges an entrance fee we do not control, it says so on that trip's page rather than in the small print.

When The Weather Wins

Boats get cancelled. The decision belongs to the harbour master rather than to us or to the operator, and it is not negotiable or refundable by anyone in the chain. Volcano sunrises get clouded out. Roads in the east wash through in the wet season.

What we can do is tell you early, reorder the day around it, and be honest about the odds before you book rather than after. A private trip bends on the morning in a way a fixed-departure tour cannot, which matters more between November and March than at any other time of year.

What We Don’t Do

No online payment

There is no card form on this site. Payment is arranged directly, which is also why there is nothing here to phish.

No commission stops

You will not be driven to a silver shop, a coffee plantation or a sarong warehouse that pays us to bring you. If a stop is on the itinerary it is because it is worth the time.

No invented scarcity

No countdown timers, no “two people are viewing this”, no fake discount off a price nobody ever paid.

No pretending about weather

If the harbour master closes the crossing or the cloud sits on Batur, we tell you before you commit rather than after.

Ask Us Anything

Including the awkward questions: whether a trip is worth the drive from your hotel, whether the weather will hold, and whether somebody else does it better than we do.
