What You're Signing Up For
Waterbom sits in the middle of Kuta on nearly four hectares of garden, and it has been rated the best water park in Asia for most of the last decade. Sixteen slides, a lazy river, a proper toddler area, and enough shade that parents can actually sit down.
What we do is the boring, useful half: get you there without a taxi argument, park up, and be waiting at the gate when you are finished, however long that takes.

The Whole Thing
We are not a ticket reseller and we would rather not pretend to be. Park tickets are sold at the gate and online at the same price we would pay, so putting our margin on top of them would just make your day more expensive.
Your driver will tell you the current adult and child prices before you go in, and where the online deal is cheaper. Then he waits, or goes and gets lunch, and comes back whenever you message him.
The park is genuinely well run. Lockers, towels and inner tubes are hired inside, the food is decent rather than captive-audience awful, and the queues are worst between eleven and two. Getting there at opening buys you two quiet hours.
It is twenty minutes from Seminyak, ten from Kuta, an hour from Ubud in traffic. If you are staying north, this is a long drive for a swimming pool and we will say so.

Who This Trip Isn’t For
We would rather talk you out of the wrong trip than take your money for it. If any of these apply, message us and we’ll suggest something that fits better.
Anyone expecting us to include tickets
We do not resell them. The gate price is the gate price, and adding our margin to it would only cost you money.
Anyone staying in north or east Bali
Two hours each way for a water park is a poor trade. Ask us and we will suggest something closer.
Anyone who wants quiet
It is a busy water park in the middle of Kuta. That is the whole point of it, and it is not restful.
Come prepared
What To Bring
Swimwear worn under your clothes
The changing rooms are busy first thing. Arriving ready saves you twenty minutes of the quietest part of the day.
Reef-safe or high-factor sunscreen
You are in and out of water all day at eight degrees south. Reapply far more often than feels necessary.
A card and some cash
Tickets and most kiosks take cards; the locker deposit and a few of the smaller stalls do not.
A change of dry clothes
For the drive home. There are showers but nowhere to dry anything.

Why are tickets not included?
Because we would have to mark them up. The gate and the website charge the same price we would, so you are better off buying your own and we would rather say that plainly.
What do tickets cost?
It moves, so we will not print a number that goes stale. Your driver checks it the morning you go and tells you before you walk up.
Does the driver wait?
Yes, the whole time, up to ten hours from pickup. Message him when you are done and he is at the gate in about fifteen minutes.
Is it good for small children?
Very. There is a dedicated toddler area with shallow water and small slides, and plenty of shaded seating next to it.
Can we combine it with anything?
Not really, and we would not push it. People come out tired. If you want a stop on the way home, Jimbaran for dinner is the one that works.
